Michael joined Core Wealth Advisors in 2017 after work in the non-profit and benefits administration space.

In his current role as a Financial Advisor, he collaborates with individuals and families to develop financial plans to meet their unique specifications and needs. His previous experience in the non-profit and benefits administration areas provides an additional vantage point when developing viable, long-term partnerships with his clients.

Prior to joining Core Wealth, Michael served the community as a Resource Development Director with the United Way of Central Florida during which time he was responsible for coordinating fundraising efforts with a wide variety of companies throughout the Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties. Michael continues his involvement with the United Way as a volunteer, serving as a member of the Démocratie Society and as Business Services Chair for the 2017 Campaign Cabinet.

Michael holds a degree from Florida Southern College, where he majored in Financial Management and Business Administration and earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ designation. This professional designation is awarded by the College for Financial Planning to individuals who specialize in creating, implementing and maintaining retirement plans for businesses.  He is a member of Lakeland Kiwanis, and is scheduled to begin his term as club President in 2018. He serves on the Florida Southern College ’6th Man Club’ Basketball board of directors, and is a member of the Spivey Society. He also currently serves as Chapter Advisor for the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Florida Southern College.

Michael is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXXI, and is involved with both the Winter Haven and Lakeland Chamber of Commerce as well as EMERGE Lakeland.

Michael and his wife Christine are avid travelers, but they also enjoy their time at home in Lakeland with their first child Ansley and are set to welcome their second daughter in late-2017. Michael is a huge sports fan and a supporter of Mocs Basketball, Gators, Buccaneers, Lightning and Rays.
