Chuck Foss is a Co-founder of Core Wealth Advisors, Inc., a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™), a designation recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chuck is currently the managing partner of Core Wealth Advisors, Inc. and focuses on the strategic direction of the firm and serves as a member of the firm’s investment committee.
In his role as a Financial Advisor, he works closely with families to develop financial plans to meet their desired individual objectives. This process involves coordinating their individual financial and tax planning objectives, asset protection, retirement, and wealth management needs. In addition, Chuck is responsible for the firm’s financial administration practice for professional athletes. In this role, Chuck works closely with the athlete’s agent or representatives to provide comprehensive financial services including multi-jurisdiction tax compliance, wealth management, financial planning and family office services.
Prior to founding Core Wealth Advisors, Inc. Chuck was a partner with a local Certified Public Accounting and Advisory firm for 20 years. Before that Chuck was employed by Polk County, Florida for ten years eventually rising to the duties as the Assistant County Administrator.
Chuck graduated from Florida Southern College in 1979 with a major in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983. For several years Chuck served as an adjunct accounting professor.
Chuck is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland, a past Trustee of the Polk Museum of Art and a past member of both Rotary and Sertoma service clubs.
Chuck and his wife Lisa have two grown children Ashley and Andrew. When time allows, they enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and attending sporting events.
